Pune-based leading IT firm Vritti Solutions has developed an AI-based automated leave & attendance management app for the Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT). The app was inaugurated by Sujata Dhole, Additional Municipal Commissioner, NMMT during the 27th Foundation Day of NMMT on January 23, 2023 at Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The leave management system is responsible for recording, managing and tracking of leaves and attendance for 3,000 employees of NMMT. The app enables in meeting leave-related statutory compliances for employers, helps in pay-roll processing and provides information on leave policies to the employees. The system can be operated from an app, which is suitable for both the operating system iOS and Android. “The app drives analytics and helps in bringing out a data-based report generation. All these factors help in making informed real-time decisions. It can be tracked from a dash board, which helps in digitally monitoring employees’ leave status, giving an eagle’s eye view of employees present available to the HR and decide whether to approve or reject the leaves applied,” said Mr. Veerendra Jamdade, Chief Executive Officer & senior Entrepreneur, Vritti Solutions. “It minimises errors that stem out of manual styles of maintaining leave records such as through e-mails and Excel sheets and can be synchronised with the existing system with NMMT,” he said. Navi Mumbai is the twin city to Mumbai. NMMT is governed by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC). NMMT operates the city buses within the NMMC region, as well as Mumbai and the Thane district regions. The 3,000 odd employees of NMMT belong to the HR, administrative and accounts department, traffic department officers and supervisory staff, drivers, conductors and employees in the engineering department.
