Mindwave Media gets you first-hand information on the Maha Kumbh Mela 2021. From Entry to Exit, the Mela ensures facilities, comfort and safety for the devotees.
5 days to go for the Kumbh Mela to begin! However, with Sadhus bestowing their sacred presence and the devotees coming in for the ‘Shahi Snan’ of Maha Shivratri, the vibe of the gathering has already started spreading its wings. The sanctified city of Haridwar is gearing up to host the world’s largest congregation. Millions of devotees are waiting for the mystic of the Mela to unfold.
The preparations by the Government of Uttarakhand and Media & Branding Agencies are going in full swing. They are trying their best to maintain sanctity and safety at the Kumbh Mela by laying out safety guidelines like wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing, sanitizing hands regularly at the sanitizer booths, which needs to be strictly followed. The bathing time is strictly limited to 20 minutes.
Now, after the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the country, the Court has directed the State Government to ask the devotees to present their RT-PCR Report before entering the Mela.
Apart from ensuring safety and comfort at the Kumbh Mela, the Government has facilitated ‘Special’ trains for the devotees to reach Haridwar without any hazards. They are also taking care of the devotees traveling via road by completing the construction work of the lanes, flyovers and bridges in the city. The Authorities have constructed 7 new inter-city bridges to avoid the chronic jam during the Mela. This news relieved the devotees from the stress of being stuck in the traffic for hours.
After traveling to Haridwar for the Mela, the devotees get ample options to choose for their stay. Haridwar is filled with a variety of Dharamshalas, Ashrams and hotels. Even the Akhadas are available for the devotees to stay, which shall give them a real feel of the Kumbh Mela.
To enhance the experience of Kumbh, the Government has arranged buses that will pick the devotees from outer parking area and drop them to the inner parking area during the main bathing days. This will facilitate the crowd to depart quickly for the holy dip. Also, the volunteers will keep on sanitizing the changing rooms for ensuring the safety of the devotees.
Arrangement of clean drinking water, first aid, CCTV cameras for additional security and 1500 bedded COVID hospital will be provided by the Government as a symbol of care and consideration towards the devotees.
The arrangement and the facilities of the Mela by the Government have not only attracted local devotees from Delhi, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, but also believers from the UK.
